Concept: The concept is the duality in the human body specifically regarding the duality in the immune system how the immune system is the main thing in the body that protects you from harm but it's also capable of attacking the body, which causes autoimmune diseases. the metaphor is the body is like a castle and the guards\knights that protect it, is the immune system. everything in the game is referenced to an actual thing such as the weapon looks like that because it represents an antibody which is what the immune system uses to protect the body. the skeleton enemies are a representation of a fungus called "cordyceps." this is a type of fungus that for animals starts to take over their minds basically making them like zombies which is why they're skeletons.
